Thank you so much for an amazing day. Your knowledge and passion is infectious and helped me in so many ways. I really enjoyed seeing the world from a different perspective. For anyone who wants to improve their photography – I can't recommend you enough. Your work is a credit to you, Jarrod.
Robert W.
Jarrod, I have to say. I've been on many photographic tours and workshops in recent years, not to mention, the amount of camera gear I've purchased. So to have learnt so much in just one day was a pleasant surprise. Hands down, one of the best investments I've made. Thank you mate.
Jeremy G.
Thanks again for a great workshop Jarrod. My wife and I had so much fun! Thank you for all you taught us – exposure, composition, processing, workflow and more. Can't wait to go out again and put it all into practice!

Luke Austin is an Australian born Landscape Photographer from Perth, Western Australia who is subsequently very familiar with his home state and the many photogenic locations it has to offer. He has spent time living in and photographing the Rocky Mountains of Canada and has also travelled and photographed throughout New Zealand and the United States of America. Although Luke has spent much time travelling abroad he strongly believes a great photograph can be made anywhere, anytime and with any working camera. It is just a matter of knowing how to get the most out of your camera and being creative. Luke is able to customize his teaching methods and techniques to suit each individual, whether they are a beginner or an advanced amateur. He is also well aware that we all learn differently, some prefer a much more practical approach whereas others may prefer things to be theoretical. His understanding of today's digital cameras and post processing techniques is vast, providing course and workshop participants with knowledge and techniques to make their images shine. The most recently awarded image by Luke is called “Persistence” and it received a Gold Award and took out 1st place in the Open Landscape category of the International Loupe Awards; a prestigious and highly competitive photography competition entered by professional photographers across the globe.

I recently completed a workshop with Luke in Dunsborough and what a great day it was. For anyone considering a tutorial with Luke... I'd highly recommend it. Not only did I learn so much but he's a thoroughly nice guy to boot and his Photoshop methods are explained clearly and concisely and they got me some amazing results. Thanks again. Can't wait for the next one.

Luke, I just wanted to say thank you for the tuition last week. It has definitely made a big difference to my workflow and i've been extremely motivated ever since. Super excited :) Thanks again!
Glen Denton
What can I say but wow! As someone who was very much an amateur photographer it was a bit daunting to sign up for a class and even more overwhelming to think I was going to take my camera off auto. Luke was an incredible teacher; supportive, patient and very knowledgeable - all of which he happily shared. I thought 4 hours of one on one time would be 3 hours too long but it went by in a flash (excuse the pun). Luke is a natural teacher and an incredible photographer and now thanks to him I know how to use my camera. Can't wait to get out there and practice as I know I can take good photos now. Can't thank you enough Luke .

I have been a photographer for as long as i have been able to hold a camera, one of my earliest memories is of my father setting up a make shift studio in the lounge to take photos of me and my sister then converting the kitchen into a dark room and printing till the early hours of the morning. This is also something I did in later life and loved. His lighting was basic but effective, what he did have was a passion for photography the same way I do now. My dad gave me a camera and one lens for my 13th Birthday, after I showed him my first roll of film, he gave me another 3 lenses and told me he thought I had a talent. He said, now go prove it to the world. The last 25 years of my working life has been consumed with the capture of images. I have a wealth of experience in most types of photography, having worked in Europe, America, Asia, The South Pacific and Australia. I spent a few years travelling the world working as a photographer on cruise ships, firstly in the Caribbean then in the south pacific. I have done postcards for the Gold coast and Vanuatu. Having photographed weddings in Europe, the Caribbean, Jamaica, England and Australia, has been a great experience. I spent 8 years working for Canon Australia supporting professional photographers, professional photo retailers and news papers, this increased my technical knowledge to a level that allowed me to train other photographers. Now it is time to use all that knowledge in my Studio. Located at 8 Rosemary Court, Beenleigh.
