Bio :- Luke Austin is an Australian born Landscape Photographer from Perth, Western Australia who is subsequently very familiar with his home state and the many photogenic locations it has to offer. He has spent time living in and photographing the Rocky Mountains of Canada and has also travelled and photographed throughout New Zealand and the United States of America. Although Luke has spent much time travelling abroad he strongly believes a great photograph can be made anywhere, anytime and with any working camera. It is just a matter of knowing how to get the most out of your camera and being creative. Luke is able to customize his teaching methods and techniques to suit each individual, whether they are a beginner or an advanced amateur. He is also well aware that we all learn differently, some prefer a much more practical approach whereas others may prefer things to be theoretical. His understanding of today’s digital cameras and post processing techniques is vast, providing course and workshop participants with knowledge and techniques to make their images shine. The most recently awarded image by Luke is called “Persistence” and it received a Gold Award and took out 1st place in the Open Landscape category of the International Loupe Awards; a prestigious and highly competitive photography competition entered by professional photographers across the globe.
